Office:
Mr. Sunil Shelar
heads the Bangalore office. He
has graduated from Sir J.J College of Architecture, Bombay
in the year 1983. He worked with Architect Uttam C. Jain
between 1983 and 1984. Later, as a senior architect, he
worked with the world-renowned Architect, Charles Correa
from 1984 to 1990. During this period, he handled many
prestigious projects in India and abroad. Notable among
these are Vidhan Bhavan at Bhopal, IUCAA institute at Pune,
JNIDB institute at Hyderabad, MRF Head quarters at Chennai,
and Jawahar Kala Kendra at Jaipur. He started independent
practice in 1990 at Bangalore. He has since designed and
executed variety of prestigious projects.
He has traveled extensively. On an
invitation from Toyota Company, he visited & studied
their establishments in Japan. He attended U.I.A. conference
in Barcelona, Spain and also visited several European
countries. He traveled around the globe especially USA to
study mega mall projects. He has been nominated for Vikas
Ratna Award. He is on the panel of and various Architectural
colleges as an external jury member. He actively involved
with BATF (Bangalore Agenda Task Force) Bangalore
Agenda Task Force).
Delhi Office:
Mr. Nirmal Kulkarni, has
over 20 years of experience in Architecture, of which 6
years were in the middle-east (Muscat & Dubai). During
his stay abroad, he worked on several international projects
of large magnitude and varied types, like Commercial,
Residential, Interiors and Hospitality projects. After
returning to India, in 1986, he set up an independent
practice in New Delhi. He was awarded the 1st Prize for The
Indira Gandhi Memorial Cultural Centre Competition organized
by the Lucknow Development Authority 1989. Specifics of this
project are detailed later. He has also secured the 3rd
prize for the M.G.R. Memorial Competition, Chennai.
Mrs. Neha Kulkarni, after
graduating from Sir J. J. College of Architecture, Bombay,
has accumulated a varied experience by working on select
Planning & Research Projects. She was a part of the
design team that won the Delhi Co-operative Finance &
Housing Scheme Competition. As part of Architect Ashok B.
Lall’s team, she worked on projects that were nominated
for the Aga Khan Award 1994. She was also a key member of
the design team that won the Indira Gandhi Memorial Cultural
Centre Competition organized by the Lucknow Development
Authority and the M.G.R. Memorial Competition, Chennai.
